The other day someone ask me what to listen, that could be easy to enjoy or like, not heavy but no commercial, so it made me think, and I’ve been listening some nice folk/rock and this song came to my mind, easy to listen and with nice mood, that almost everybody can enjoy, so this band from Chicago featuring Leslie Feist on the late show with David Letterman, hope you enjoy it , Wilco will release a new album this fall, you can check out more from them on the web.

Recently I just finished a project, it’s a photo book created with 100% iPhone pictures, iPhoneography is a term used for this kind of photography, so all the images are taken and edited on my iPhone, it is a book trough a 3 months stay in Sayulita Nayarit Mexico where I started to discover a bit more about the iPhone camera and all the photography apps that helps you achieve incredible results, and this evolve my photography and my eye for it, I heard lots of times when I show some pictures taken with my DSLR and my basic 18-55 mm lens, that’s a great photo! but is because your camera, so it’s like a weird compliment sometimes So we overrated the camera and the features, we talk about megapixels and expensive lenses, but we forget the most important part, the photographer I think is the part that is need to be changing the most, evolving and creating a better way to make photography, tools of course help, but great tools doesn’t equals a great results all the time, so lets take advantage of the tools we have, but remember the best part about the camera is the one behind it!

“Don’t Sit Down ‘Cause I’ve Moved Your Chair” is the first single from Arctic Monkeys’ fourth studio album Suck It and See released in April. Powerfull song which defines the “new” sound for this album, after “Humbug”, “Suck It and See” seems to be lighter, going back to the sound of the first albums, in my opinion the y stayed within the safety limits of the British Indie rock sound, anyway, they are now touring, doing the summer festivals, one of the bands you shouldnt miss, enjoy!!

A single from this American band from Albuquerque New Mexico, but now base in Portland, from the 2007 album Wincing the Night Away, A song that flows easy like water, and builds up at the right time, hope you enjoy this, and if you have the chance to listen to more songs from this band, it worth it!

one of the singles in 2009 of this band from Glasgow, Scotland one of a few singles of their last album “My Maudlin Career”, I like this song it has some nice beat and a super retro feeling, as you can see on the video too, is good to hear female voices in music, gives totally another perspective and texture, to music in any genre, hope you enjoy this easy song.
